We are now seeking a Key Account Manager to collaborate closely with wholesalers, electrical installers, drive new customer acquisitions, negotiate contractual agreements and grow market share. You should also drive projects aimed at expanding our clients market share in the HORECA industry—primarily through strategic partnerships in Denmark. If you have a passion for sales, building partnerships and thrive in customer interactions, at the same time as you love to close deals, this could be the perfect role for you.
Our client is a well-known European lighting company with global presence. The company offers a comprehensive range of lighting products and is recognized for its great service and short lead-times. With the clear ambition to grow in the Nordics the company have set a new strategy and an ambitious plan to expand the business. The Nordic team currently consists of six people but is expanding

Location: Initially remote, but ideally, you should be based in Copenhagen, Veijle, Esbjerg, or Åhus.

Our client is offering the right person a fantastic challenge to be a key member of a growth journey in Denmark and the Nordics. Your role is very much independent, and you are given a lot of freedom to plan your daily work if you show results and action. You are supported by Danish as well as Nordic and European colleagues and have access to Nordic speaking lighting design service. The role offers a market-based compensation package, including pension and a result driven bonus package and a company car.
Initially you report to the MD of the Nordics and place of employment is in Denmark.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the full sales process from initial contact to closing deals.
- Maintain and grow existing partnership with key wholesales and their customers by being present, engaged and provide excellent service and feedback.
- Handle both long and short sales cycles to ensure long-term stability while responding quickly to immediate needs.
- Leverage your own and the company’s valuable network to develop profitable customer relationships.
- Engage and cooperate with “Light As A Service partners” to the HORECA industry, as well as to look for strategically interesting prescribing lighting designers, electrical consultants, and architects.
- Work on both interior and exterior lighting applications for the company’s clients.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of a seven years’ experience in complex and customer-specific B2B sales within the lighting or electrical equipment industry.
- An established network within the region and relevant application areas.
- Experience from working with design products
- Technical understanding in lighting solutions.
- Comfortable communicating directly with different client groups and negotiate on management level.
- Excellent communication skills in Danish and English, both spoken and written.
- Good IT skills, with proficiency in standard business software.
- A valid Category B driver's license.
